One cm. over from the left edge, there is a black, vertical line going from top to bottom Two cm. down the line, from the top, on the left of the line, there is a red square which is one cm. by 1 cm. There is a square identical to the other, but black, three and a half inches down. There is another square that is identical to the first square one and a half inches down from the black square. Three cm. Down from that square , there is another square which is identical to the second square. In the space in the left bottom corner, fill in blue. Two inches to the right of the vertical line there is another. Two inches to the right of the second vertical line, there is the edge. Once inch down from the top, there is a horizontal line on the second vertical line going right, to the edge. Nine and a half cm. down, there is another, and 8 cm. down from that one, there is another. In the top right corner, it is shaded in yellow.

 Reflections on our progress:

In the description, we could have made it more clear when we were telling you how to draw the little squares. It was kind of unclear when we said the third square is the same as the first.

Maybe you thought the second vertical line was the one to the left, because we didn't make it too clear which was the second vertical line.
