Venus Weirdo
13-26

 Our original Alien:

Our word description of our original Alien drawing:

Venus Weirdo is from Venus, obviously. Its legs are green and its feet look like high heels with really long toes. It also has purple spikes on its shoes about where your shoe laces would be. From the hips, from where the arms come out, and from where the neck is, is all purple. Its arms are orange like its three pointy fingers. Its magenta head has thick blue eyebrows, brown eyes, and an upside-down-heart-shaped nose. Its mouth is red with vampire-like teeth. Sprouting out from the top of its head is a green stick, which leads to two wave like antennae.
These antennae can move and bend and curl. Out from where the antennae separate is a thicker blue stick with a red eye on it. It takes up half of the page.
The other half is taken up by a spaceship. It iss shaped like a flying saucer, only it has a glass-window dome on the top. The flying saucer part is magenta, except for a long line that goes across the middle. It is striped with a pattern of blue, red, blue, red, etc. There are three sticks with little feet on them. They are green. There are bright yellow lights on either side of the ship. (We used a highlighter.)

 Reflections on our progress:

Dear Alien Drawers:
Your alien was almost like ours. We wanted to ask you some things: What are those big blobs coming out of its head? Where are the purple spikes on its feet? Its arms should be orange, not purple. And, last of all, where is the spaceship?

There are some things that we didn't do well. We didn't tell you tht there were gray spikes on its hips, and that the antennae were long.

Sincerely, Alien Partners
