 My Self Portrait

Michael's re-creation of my self portrait

My description of my self portrait:

(What I look like)

I am a boy. I have an oval-shaped head. My neck is short and thin. I have an indentation at the bottom of my neck. My hair is a wavy, ash-blonde. It is also thin and short. My forehead is high and wide. My eyes are round and are a medium shade of blue. My nose is long and narrow and has nostrils at the bottom. My lips are thin and are a light shade of pink. My chin is a sharp curve.

(Placing)

My eyes are in the middle of my head. With the top of my nose right in between my eyes and my mouth, directly below my nose, it comes in pretty handy.

 Reflections:

You made the eyes blue, and that was correct. You also made the lips pink, and that was correct, too. You were very smart to make the eyes an oval shape, because it is the exact same as I drew it. The hair color was about the same.

I could have described that I have a shirt on instead of a bare neck. I also could have made the "placing" a lot more understandable.
