My Self Portrait |
Robert's re-creation of my self portrait |
My description of my self portrait: I am a girl with an oval-shkaped head. My head is shaped much like an egg. I will describe my face from top to bottom. My hair is very wavy and thick. It is bouncy and chin-length. My hair color is brown, but almost black. In some places it has streaks of ebony black. My forehead is wide and long/high. My eyebrows are thick and arched. They are the same color as my hair and are a little bushy in some spots. My eyes are oval-shaped and a medium brown. They are a little bit darker than my hair. They also sparkle. My lashes are sparse and stubby. My cheekbones are rosy and medium in height. When you look at me you can't see them very well. My nose is long and narrow. It's also straight. My nostrils are small. My lips are full and pink. They are also chapped. They are smiling. My chin is very round. There is no angle anywhere on it. It looks like a semi-circle. My neck is short and not thick, but medium. I have a V-neck blue shirt on. My skin color is sort of peachy. I hope that I gave enough details for you to draw this. Good luck!!!! |
Reflections: All in all, I think that we both did a pretty good job. There were a few changes that you or I could have made. The shape of the head was pretty good. I didn't say any kind of measurement, so you did great on this. I put down that my hair was thick, bouncy, and chin-length, but you might have missed this. I should have explained better that the hair grew all the way to right next to the neck. I should have explained better how long and how wide the forehead was. The eyebrows look almost the same. I should have said how narrow the oval for my eyes was. The color was good. I said that my lashes are sparse and stubby, but you might have missed that. I didn't say how long the nose was, so you did a great job. I said that my lips were full and chapped and smiling;' you might have also missed this. The chin was great. I should have said how thick the neck was, and also how short it was. I should have said how high the head was on the page. The reason that my face and lips are white is because I never had time to finish the picture. I explained how I thought it would look. I'm sorry. |
