Our Description of the Painting:
The paper is horizontal. The colors used are black, red, white, and yellow. Across the middle of the page there is a long, horizontal line. The line is two inches thick. It is outlined on each side with a thick, black line. On the top of the stripe in the middle there is a two inch thick stripe going horizontally. In the left corner on the stripe in the middle, there is a red, two inch rectangle. It is vertical. On the right of the red rectangle there is a thin blacik line. Next to the black line there is a rectangle that is three inches ling and it is horizontal. Then there is a thin, black line. Then there is a two inch long square. Then there is a thick, black line, and then there is a vertical, one inch thich rectangle. Then there is a thin black line. Next is a one half inch long rectangle that is vertical.
Under the long stripe in the middle, there is a one inch thick stripe that goes horizontally all the way along the bottom. On the left corner, there is a half inch rectangle that is going vertically. Then there is a one inch square that is black. Then there is a three inch rectangle that is going horizontally. Then there is a black one inch rectangle that is vertical. Then there is a two inch vertical rectangle. Next is a two inch black rectangle that is horizontal. Then there is a yellow square that is one inch. Then there is a helf inch rectangle that is horizontal. Then there is a two and a half inch vertical, yellow rectangle.
Reflection on Our Progress:
We think they used the right colors. They put the paper horizontally, as we said. We should have said the lines were thin, not thick. We said the red rectangle was on the left side. We should have said there is a thick, black line on the very top and a thick, black line on the very bottom.
We should have said the lines were straight. We said there was a clear white three inch line in the middle of the page with nothing inside. We said the yellow rectangle were on the right bottom corner.
Our partners did a pretty good job!
