Birthdays -- Class Star

Birthdays are very special.  We will be honoring both school year and vacation birthdays, and your child is invited to participate in this activity if it meets with you approval.  If your child has a birthday that occurs during vacation, a week is chosen during which he or she may celebrate at school.  During this week, your child may choose a day on which to share special photos, belongings, pets, or people.  Your child may also share a treat with the class.  Please make the treat something that your child can serve.  Treats can be left at school in the morning or you may choose to bring the treat later in the day and attend the celebration with us.  Please let the teacher know at least a week ahead which day your child will be sharing with the class.  Ideally, celebrations are at the end of the day; however, since this is not always possible, we try to be flexible in scheduling.
