Friday
Folder: Each Friday, or the last day of the week (unless it is a very short
week), children will take home their Friday Folders, a folder containing completed work,
weekly progress reports, newletters, announcements, and the Wildcat Weekly. This
packet should be looked over with your child on Friday, and the empty folder should be
returned the following Monday or the first day of the next week. Parents are
encouraged to inquire if no papers reach home. Please replace lost folders.
Bulletin Board: Information about our class, up-coming events, etc. will be
posted on the bulletin board on the wall outside our class.
Conferences and Report Cards: Conferences will occur once in the Fall and once in
the Spring. They are an opportunity for parents and teacher to exchange information,
set goals, discuss progress, and review student assessments. Please sign up for a
Fall Conference date. If you did not sign up at Back to School night, please sign up
on the sheet posted on the outside bulletin board. Schedules will be sent home as
soon as sign-ups are completed. Report Cards are mailed out three times a year --
after Fall and Spring conferences and at the end of the year.
Other: If you need to contact your teacher for any reason, please send a note or
call the office at 322-5956, or leave a message via email. If your child's
end-of-the-day routine will be deviating from the norm (i.e., going home with a friend) or
there is anything else going on that a teacher should be aware of, please send a note with your
signature to make the teacher aware of the situation. If you have an urgent message and need
to contact your teacher during class time, please call the office at 322-5956, ext 125 or
126, and ask the secretary to contact your teacher.
